Terms of Service

By using PostPata, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. PostPata Ltd is a company registered in the United Republic of Tanzania.

1 — Acceptance

Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the PostPata mobile app or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. We may update these terms; continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

2 — Your account

Account responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Business accounts require valid business registration in Tanzania.
Do not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.

3 — Marketplace

Buying and selling rules

Listings

All listings must be accurate, legal, and comply with Tanzanian law. Prohibited goods may not be listed.

Payments

Display prices in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS). We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers.

Jobs

Job postings must comply with Tanzanian labour laws. Fraudulent job offers will be removed immediately.

Properties

Listings must reflect actual available properties. Misrepresentation may result in account suspension.

4 — Prohibited conduct

What's not allowed

Fraud, scams, or misrepresentation of any kind.
Posting illegal content or goods prohibited by Tanzanian law.
Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users.
Circumventing our payment system or token policies.
Scraping, hacking, or reverse-engineering the platform.
Creating fake reviews or manipulating listing rankings.

5 — Tokens

Token system

PostPata tokens are a virtual currency used for platform features (contact unlocks, listing boosts). Tokens have no cash value outside the platform unless explicitly converted through our payout system. All token purchases are final unless otherwise stated.

6 — Termination

Account suspension & termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

7 — Governing law

Legal jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Tanzania. By using PostPata, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
